New To This Edition Concept Compass: The 9th edition has updated and improved the chapter opening Concept Compass which provides students with the key concepts and highlights where animations are available in the WileyPLUS course for each concept. Students will be able to easily navigate through the text and identify key sections which require review and practice, and where to find the related study tools. However, in my opinion the format of these makes the exercise pointless except for only the most disciplined and careful of readers, as the answers are given directly below each question with no option to hide them.

Unfortunately, the answers are so close to the questions that peripheral vision alone is enough to read them while attempting to concentrate on each question. Finally, back to the book, and this edition is a welcome update to earlier versions of the same title.

Despite my quibbles over text size and companion website faults, this is a book that is well written, with carefully chosen informative material, which I am sure will be widely used by those mentioned above. Skip to main content. Advertisement Hide. Download PDF.
